Jirrahlinga Koala Shelter

Jardine Homes are community-minded and we enjoy ‘giving back’ to our community, and in so doing, have helped reconstruct the Koala Shelter at the local Jirrahlinga Wildlife Centre in Barwon Heads, which was recently burnt down.

We strove to ensure that, as a registered charity, Jirrahlinga Wildlife Sanctuary were provided with the most competent and comfortable shelter possible for their budget.

This shelter was completed in early 2012.

Barwon Heads Community Gardens

Jardine Homes provided the Barwon Heads Arts Community Gardens with pergolas to offer shade to the existing building, we also provided extra capacity for the water tanks in order to collect rainwater so that the gardens could thrive, and provided a north-facing area for photo-voltaics to provide the community gardens with power.

With our help, the community gardens are thriving and as a result, enjoyed by much of the community.

Jardine Homes ensured that this work was undertaken at a lesser cost to help with their budget.
